About the event
We are incredibly excited to welcome you to the very first Queer Up! event, marking the launch of Moksha Holistic Therapies CIC's new LGBTQ+ wellbeing community. Queer Up! was created from a simple belief: everyone deserves spaces where they feel safe, seen and accepted. Nature has an extraordinary ability to bring us back to ourselves, while community reminds us that we don't have to navigate life alone. Together, these two things can be profoundly restorative.
Our launch event invites you to spend the day exploring the beautiful landscape of Kinder Scout, one of the Peak District's most iconic locations. As we walk together through open moorland, dramatic gritstone edges and sweeping panoramic views, we'll also create opportunities to pause, breathe and reconnect with ourselves, with one another and with the natural world.

Thanks to funding from The National Lottery Community Fund through Moksha Holistic Therapies CIC's Healing in Nature project, this event is free to attend. Your ticket includes participation in the full guided Kinder Scout walk, eco-therapy activities, meditation and grounding practices, and the opportunity to be part of the launch of our LGBTQ+ wellbeing community.
