Yesterday marked a very special moment for us at Moksha Holistic Therapies, the official launch of our Healing in Nature project, made possible through the generous support of the National Lottery Community Fund. What unfolded was far more than an event. It was a gathering of souls, a return to connection, and a reminder of how powerful community healing can be when people come together with open hearts.
Arriving as Strangers, Leaving as Community
From the moment our guests arrived, there was a sense of ease and belonging. People wandered through the space taking in the surroundings of the Milk Churn Cafe, greeting one another, and settling into a gentle flow. Conversations sprung up effortlessly, and before long, the atmosphere felt like a reunion of familiar spirits rather than a first gathering.
We shared a hearty homemade soup, the kind of simple, grounding food that warms both stomach and spirit.
Karuna Holy Fire with Jan Muse: A Deeply Transformative Experience

A central part of the day and for many, the most impactful was the Karuna Holy Fire session led by the deeply gifted Jan Muse. Karuna, often described as the energy of compassionate action, invites healing that reaches far beyond the surface. Holy Fire energy, in turn, brings a sense of purification, gentleness, and guidance that feels both powerful and nurturing. Combined, they create a unique healing modality that supports emotional release, inner clarity, and spiritual awakening.
Jan opened the space with calm intention, helping everyone settle into their bodies and into the moment. As she guided the group, the room shifted into an atmosphere that felt warm, held, and safe almost like being wrapped in an energetic embrace. Attendees described experiencing waves of emotion, moments of deep stillness, and insights rising to the surface in a way that felt natural and supported. Some felt old tension dissolve, others experienced a sense of lightness or renewal, and many simply found themselves sinking into a peace they hadn't realised they were craving. Jan’s ability to hold the group with steady, compassionate presence made the session not only healing, but also deeply grounding.
Karuna Holy Fire isn’t about “fixing” people, it’s about creating space for inner transformation. It encourages release without force, healing without overwhelm, and clarity without pressure. Watching the room soften, breathe, and open to this process was one of the most moving parts of the entire launch event.
Jan’s work brought a profound heart-energy to the day, setting the tone for the sound bath and the rest of our healing journey together. Her contribution offered the group a rare moment of spiritual spaciousness, the kind that lingers long after the session ends.
Sound Bath & Meditation: Restoring Balance
Following the Karuna session, Azim moved us gently into a sound bath and guided meditation. With crystal bowls, soft tones, and meditative intention, the group collectively sank into a peaceful state. It was a moment of collective exhale. a chance to let the nervous system reset and allow the body to relax in the safety of community.
The room felt warm and unified, held by vibrations that numbed the noise of everyday life and invited everyone into deep rest. Moments like these remind us why sound healing is such a profound tool for inner balance.

A Heart Full of Gratitude
We are genuinely humbled by how many beautiful people came to celebrate this launch with us. Every smile, every conversation, every moment of stillness shared contributed to the powerful energy of the day. A special thank you must go to our volunteers. Their generosity, time, and dedication are the backbone of events like this. Without them, none of this would be possible. We see you, we appreciate you, and we are endlessly grateful.
